박민기는 크라우디드(The Crowded)의 기획자이며, 크리에이티브 스튜디오 보우본즈 (BowBones Inc)의 대표. 그는 뉴욕에서 디지털 일러스트레이터, 웹디자이너, 그리고 애니메이션 아티스트로써 활발한 활동을 해왔다. 2005년부터 2011년까지 알지에이 (R/GA) 뉴욕의 나이키 디지털 커머스 어카운트에서 디자인 디렉터로 활동하며 나이키아이디, 나이키스토어, 나이키팀스포츠, 나이키그리드아이언 디지털 광고작업을 진행하였고, 칸 국제광고제 실버 라이온스, 원쇼 인터렉티브, 더 웨비 어워즈, 아트 디렉터스 클럽, 커뮤니케이션 아트, 에프더블유에이 수상 및 알지에이 큐브 어워즈 엑설런스 2008을 수상하였다. 그는 임우성 감독의 장편영화 ‘채식주의자’의 컨셉아트를 작업했으며, 이는 2010년 선댄스 영화제 월드시네마 드라마 부문 경쟁부문에 공식 초청 되었다. 그가 개인적으로 제작한 독립 인터렉티브 애니메이션 ‘아메리칸 펭귄 프로젝트’는 2005년 오타와 국제 애니메이션 페스티벌에서 인터렉티브 애니메이션 부문 1등상 수상, 사우스 바이 사우스웨스트 인터렉티브 페스티벌에서 웹부문 파이널리스트에 오른 바 있다. 최근 그는, 성장기 소년 소녀 3부작 독립 단편 애니메이션 제작과, 패션 & 아트 협력 브랜드 ‘더 웍올 (The Workall)’의 아티스트를 위한 웍웨어 제작 및 크라우디드 멤버들과의 콜라보레이션 작업에 몰두하고 있다. 박민기의 모토는‘확신과 결과’이다.

Minki Park is the organizer of The Crowded, and the president of BowBones Inc. He was an Art Director on the Nike Digital Commerce account at R/GA New York for 6 years from 2005 to 2011. He has created websites for NIKEiD, NikeStore, NikeTeam and NikeGridiron, winning awards including Cannes Design Lions, One Show Interactive, The Webby Awards, Art Directors Club, Communication Arts and FWA, and R/GA Cube Recognition of Excellence Award 2008. Also, Park was a concept artist for Wooseong Lim’s narrative film, ‘Vegetarian,’ which was selected to the World Cinema Dramatic competition section of Sundance Film Festival 2010. Park was awarded the First Prize of Interactive Animation at the Ottawa International Animation Festival 2005 and Web Awards Finalist at the SXSW Interactive Festival 2006 for his independent interactive animation, ‘American Penguin Project.’ Currently he has been working on various creative projects including his own independent short animation, a collaborative brand between fashion and art, ‘The Workall- Handsome and Practical Workwear for Artist,’ and collaborations with members of The Crowded. Park’s motto is “Confidence and Consequence.”

창작인으로서의 목표

창작을 하며 사는것.
창작[創作]은 창의적인것을 만드는 행위 또는 작품을 뜻합니다. 창작인[人]은 창작을 하는 사람입니다. 창작을 멈추었다면 더이상 창작인이 아닙니다. 창작을 ‘했던’ 사람일 뿐입니다. 전 창작인입니다. 죽을 때까지 창작인으로서 창작만 하며 살 겁니다.
